HOGAN'S HEROES TRADING CARDS

Probably the primary objection here regarding this show was the presentation of certain Nazis to be of the "warm and fuzzy" variety.  We all know that they were anything but.  However, for those who may not know this, many of the actors who played Nazis on "Hogan's Heroes" were themselves victims of the Nazi regime during the War Years.  Werner Klemperer, in particular, would only play Col. Klink as an idiot probably more as a cathartic gesture than anything.  It's understandable that this was the only way he could get back at the Nazis for doing what they did to him and I, for one, was never upset that he chose to do so.  Besides, this was a damn funny show.
